New name, new studio, new start

Sahara Sound is London's newest independent music production facility. Based in Fulham, and previously known as Bunk, Junk and Genius (BJG), the studio was taken over last year by Al Zawawi, working with business partner Daniel Robert.

The studio has recently undergone a major refurbishment programme overseen by Harris Grant Associates and is now available for commercial bookings. The News page will be updated with details of artists and producers who have used the studio.

The facility is home to a new 80-channel SSL K 9000 XL console, complemented by Dynaudio main monitoring, a separate 5.1 system and a full range of effects, processing and mastering outboard.
